Where are you from?
I am a native of the San Francisco Bay Area.

What attracted you to Backblaze?
Backblaze values and utilizes technology to make people’s lives easier. This methodology aligns well with me in providing technical solutions for people.

Where else have you worked?
Konica Minolta/All Covered, ConXion Corporation, Ventro/Chemdex, Ziff Davis, SoftBank Corporation, and The Communications Resources Company.

Favorite things?
Place to travel: Kauai, HI.
Hobby: Restoring and riding vintage Indian motorcycles.

What would you do if you didn’t have to work?
Slow cook and BBQ.

Where do you go to think?
I go to the beach or for a nice long ride on my motorcycle.

How did you get into computers?
When in grammar school, a friend of mine had an Atari 400 which we played a text-based adventure game. We started to change the code and it was all down hill from there.

Ben will be responsible for keeping our internal IT stuff straight and clearing paper jams. Welcome to the Backblaze family, Ben!
